The World Cricket Legends in the Wild is to be held in KwaZulu Natal from November 13th-16th.
Individuals on South Africa holidays may be tempted to watch the event, which will see some fine ex-sportsmen taking part.
Former Test players from both India and South Africa – including Graeme Pollock, Lance Klusener and Sandeep Patil – are set to be part of it.
Sugen Pillay, global head of events at South African Tourism, stated the occasion will be a "wonderful celebration of the game".
"It gives us an opportunity to remind the world of our deep and abiding commitment to preserving our wonderful wilderness areas," he added.
Mr Pillay continued by saying that the event also gives the country an opportunity to showcase the "family-friendly cities" on offer.
There are also six Blue Flag beaches for 2011-12 in KwaZulu Natal, which means people can relax when they are not watching the cricket.
