Tourists embarking on South Africa holidays in the coming weeks may be interested in attending Whisky Live, an annual festival devoted to celebrating the famous spirit.
Running from November 2nd to 4th, the event takes place at the Cape Town International Convention Centre and each year attracts some 15,000 visitors keen to expand their knowledge of the alcoholic beverage.
Now in its ninth year, the festival showcases whiskies from around the world and has become one of the largest expos of its kind.
Visitors can buy bottles of their favourite blends and malts, take part in a whisky workshop and sample some of the exciting flavours on offer in the tasting hall, while connoisseurs may want to take their experience to the next level of class on the Volvo Ultimate Guided Whisky Tour.
And people going on South Africa holidays may also want to see the magnificent sight of Table Mountain while in Cape Town.
At present, the famous landmark is vying to be named as one of the new seven wonders of nature.
