The best time to check out the Kruger National Park is between April and September.
According to the Sabotage Times, the location should be visited on safari holidays during the winter months as it is an ideal period to see the buffalo, warthog, lion, elephant, giraffe and zebra.
What’s more, people can also witness spotted hyena, baboons and hippo when they take in the destination, which is fed by six rivers and described as a lush grassland.
In addition, the publication also picked out the Okavango Delta in Botswana, stating it is “a unique ecosystem of papyrus-lined waterways, knee-deep floodplains, water-lily lagoons, shady forest glades and rich savannah grasslands”.
And it noted the Maasai Mara in Kenya and Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park might also be worth visiting.
Last month, Bruce Kekule, penning a piece in the Bangkok Post, described Kenya as offering the ultimate safari experiences, stating he took some “very good” photos of African buffalo.
