For those travellers craving excellent levels of customer service at their chosen accommodation on their tour, they should look no further than holidays to South Africa and Cape Town if the findings of a recent survey are anything to go by.
A trio of hotels in the popular Rainbow Nation hotspot have made it onto US magazine Travel and Leisure’s ‘World’s Best Service’ list in the Africa and Middle East category, serving to celebrate the merits of hotels underpinned by outstanding hospitality.
Making up the top four hotels in the list were The Twelve Apostles Hotel & Spa which claimed first place while Cape Grace and the One & Only staked second and fourth places respectively.
This particularly category as devised by Travel and Leisure is just one of a number of classifications that forge part of the organisation’s grander ‘World Best Awards’ that identify the best of the best in terms of various elements of the entire holiday package such as accommodation, cruises, airlines and more.
Of course, South Africa boasts numerous points of interest in beautiful settings and it is the dramatic landscape plus friendly and welcoming locals at generous hotels that makes for an altogether fulfilling traveller experience which Western Cape Finance, Economic Development and Tourism Minister, Alan Winde agrees must continue to forge the bedrock to success in the tourism industry.
Winde explained “I hope these awards serve as an inspiration to the Western Cape hospitality industry to consistently strive for the highest service levels.
“I am also confident that these awards will encourage more international visitors to our world-class destination,” he continued.
