Music lovers can make their way to Johannesburg for the Joy of Jazz festival.
For those on South Africa holidays, the event offers them the opportunity to see some of the finest musicians the country has to offer, as well as international talent.
Wynton Marsalis, McCoy Tyner and Dee Dee Bridgwater are all making the trip from the US for it, which takes place from August 25th-27th.
Sugen Pillay, global manager for events at South African Tourism, observed the celebration will work as a "platform for South Africa to showcase Johannesburg as a music capital and South Africans as warm and welcoming".
Mr Pillay stated music plays a massive part in the culture of the nation.
Hugh Masekela, Sibongile Khumalo and the African Jazz Pioneers – a group that has been running in some form since the 1950s – are among the performers from the continent who will be making an appearance.
