Johannesburg will present itself as a clothing hub by hosting the Africa Fashion Week.
Running from October 20th to the 23rd at the Sandton Convention Centre, those on South Africa holidays who like to be stylish may find the three-day event is perfect for them.
It is part of the city's attempt to present itself as one of the premier fashion, design and lifestyle locations in the world.
Roshene Singh, chief marketing officer of South African Tourism, noted it is "going to be a bold [and] exciting event".
"Africa Fashion Week gives us a platform to showcase our destination and its unique fashion aesthetic to a world of stylish, trendsetting travellers," she added.
As well as bringing the best local talent, designers from as far afield as the UK, US and Egypt will be present.
It comes after a specially organised event was held in London in August that saw outfits modelled by 50 African artists.
