Those travelling to South Africa in order to spot the so-called Big Five animals on a wildlife excursion might be in luck.
According to Maryanne Njeri, writing for the East African, spotting these beasts at the Madikwe Game Reserve is guaranteed on safari holidays.
In addition to this, she stated there are black rhinos in the vicinity, as well as brown and spotted hyenas and wild dogs.
What's more, she highly recommended bird watching in the area as there are 350 species of the animal around.
And Ms Njeri added: "We saw a good number of giraffes, dik diks, brown hyenas, kudus, a pride of lions, more elephants and springboks."
The Rainbow Nation was also recommended as a possible destination for a safari by Robin Robinson, writing for the Toronto Sun, as he pointed out June could be the ideal month for such a trip, adding he would head for Kruger National Park to spot the Big Five.
