Safari holiday could be ideal for honeymoons

Couples looking for somewhere to chill out after their wedding might like to go on an African wildlife excursion.

According to a piece in the Huffington Post, spotting the so-called big five animals – buffalo, rhino, lion, leopard and elephant – could be a romantic perk on safari holidays.

The publication recommended that people could then return to their room for a "sun-downer or two and a Cuban cigar to share".

One destination that may appeal to those keen on a safari is the Shamwari Game Reserve in the Eastern Cape, of which the publication cites a positive review from celebrity actor Brad Pitt.

The Fight Club star said: "The people are as fantastic as the animals majestic. Enjoyed the food chain. Many thanks."

This comes after an article in Boosh News recommended that people searching for a safari should visit an African reserve to get up close and personal with the beasts.
