A TV documentary that followed Prince William around Africa to find out more about his charity work may also encourage people to go on wildlife excursions in the continent.
Presenter of Prince William's Africa – which aired on Sky1 HD last night (October 20th) – Ben Fogle told Digital Spy that it was "amazing and very humbling" to spend so much time with the prince and his brother Harry.
Those keen on safari holidays may have been encouraged to hear that the trio went on a private expedition in Botswana.
Fogle recalled seeing lions, rhinos, elephants and giraffes while travelling in the back of the vehicle with the second and third in line to the throne and added: "For me that was certainly a highlight."
In addition, Brendan Powell, writing for the Globe and Mail, recently recommended the country to safari fans.
He stated that it is "blessed with some of Africa's most beautiful subtropical wilderness reserves".
