‘No shortage of zebra’ on Namibia safari holidays

Those hoping to spot an array of wild animals on safari might like to visit Namibia.

The country comes recommended by James Fraser, writing for the Daily Mail, who noted there was no shortage of zebra in the area.

He also witnessed rhinos and giraffes at the Etosha National Park, which he later noted was the highlight of his time in the African nation.

Other safari holiday sightings included seeing a roaring lion and Mr Fraser pointed out that it can be a promising thing to turn up at a empty watering hole.

"It might indicate that there's a big cat lurking somewhere and the other animals are keeping well away because they can smell its scent," he added.

Mr Fraser is not alone in recommending the country as Peter Ottesen, writing for the Southern Times, saw rhino while on safari in the Ongava Game Reserve next to the Etosha National Park and noted the dunes were "immense".
