The musical Kwela Bafana could be a must see for all visitors to Johannesburg.
Set in the 1950s, it offers a mixture of kwela, jazz and tap dance that all those on South Africa holidays should be keen to check out.
From November 2nd to December 10th it will be running three nights a week at the Victory Theatre in Houghton.
According to the City of Johannesburg website, the show will have "audiences tapping their feet and wishing they had brought along their dancing shoes".
It is primarily about the music of popular South African group the Manhattan Brothers and sees a mixture of Zulu, mbaqanga and other traditional sounds from the nation.
Themba Mkhize will be providing musical direction, while Todd Twala is the choreographer.
Alternatively, individuals may be tempted to go along to Africa Fashion Week, which is taking place from October 20th-23rd at the Sandton Convention Centre.
