Luxury resort with its own airport coming to Africa

A mammoth holiday resort which will be the largest in Africa when it is completed in 2020 is now under construction.

The resort, which will be located on the coast of Zanzibar and is to be called the Zanzibar Amber Resort, will consist of five hotels in total as well as all manner of attractions to keep you entertained during your stay: a tropical aqua park, the first signature golf course in East Africa and an underwater restaurant/nightclub are just some of the gems you will find across the 3756 acres of the resort.

It is often the case with luxury accommodation such as this that you have to make a real trek to reach the remote location, hopping on board multiple different methods of transport. But getting to the Zanzibar Amber is a breeze. The resort will have its own airport and deep water marina if you are planning to fly or sail in for your holiday.

Once you’re there, there will be plenty to keep you occupied. A souk where you can browse the wares during a spot of shopping awaits, as well as the opportunity to swim with turtles in the clear blue sea.

For the sporty types, you can saddle up at the equestrian centre and try your hand at polo in the international polo club.

You will be well looked after during your stay, too: there are medical facilities on site and even a private international school.

If you find that you like it so much at the Zanzibar Amber that you’d like to stay forever, there are also a range of permanent accommodation options including penthouse condominiums, beachside villas and private islands!
