There are plenty of interesting activities and events for people in Kenya to take part in.
According to Angie Sloan, director of the Kenya Tourist Board for UK and Ireland, the events calendar for people on Kenya holidays is "full of interesting traditions, sports and festivals".
One of the highlights is the Rhino Charge, which is an off-road motorsports competition that takes place every year.
Alternatively, Ms Sloan observed the Safaricom marathon and half marathon offers people the chance to run the same route as giraffe, zebra and elephants.
The wildebeest migration is also something travellers may be interested in viewing up close and personal.
"Visitors watch in awe as the river banks swell and burst with wildebeest as they storm down the river bank," Ms Sloan remarked.
On top of this, she stated the Rift Valley Festival – an environmentally aware gathering – showcases some of the best musicians in the country.
