There are many exciting activities for people to do in Johannesburg.
This is according to Lindiwe Kwele, chief executive officer of the Johannesburg Tourism Company (JTC), who noted those on South Africa holidays should make a point of visiting the city.
A campaign has been launched to showcase the area, with people finding out more about the Joburg Shopping Festival, the Arts Alive festival and South African Fashion Week.
"It's incumbent upon the JTC to assist travellers in planning their entire trip to South Africa – while showcasing all there is to do while spending time in Joburg on stopovers," Ms Kwele remarked.
The WITS 969 Festival will also be hosting three plays that are fresh from a sold-out run at the National Arts Festival.
Flicker, Big Boys Don't Dance and Romeo and Juliet are the productions and they will be running from September 21st – 30th at the Wits Theatre Complex.
