‘Include golf’ on Kenya holidays

Golf ballAn emerging trend for those heading to Africa on holiday is safari golf, so-called because holes are now being played on upcountry courses, with Kenya declared undiscovered golf destination of the year in 2009 during the last International Golf Travel Market.

Those planning Kenya holidays will also soon be able to put their clubs to the test on the new Vipingo Ridge fairway, located on Mombasa’s north coast.

Called the Baobab course, it features a series of waterfalls, streams and lakes which means that golfers are likely to come across all sorts of different species of wildlife as they putt.
