People who want to do it all on a wildlife excursion should opt for a hot air balloon ride, it has been suggested.
Maryam Siddiqi, writing for the Leader Post, said this type of activity on safari holidays is ideal for those who like to have a bird's-eye-view of proceedings.
She described spotting lions and an antelope in a hot air balloon over the Masai Mara region in Kenya.
Ms Siddiqi also stated individuals who are keen on spotting the so-called big five animals – African Elephant, rhinoceros, Cape buffalo, lion and the leopard – should go on a game drive safari.
"This is what people picture when they think of safaris – sightings near and far of elephants, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes and much more. If you're lucky, a pride of lions, male and cubs included," she added.
She noted there is a feeling of unpredictability from game drives as people will never know what they might see.
