Head to The Elephant Camp Victoria Falls on safari holidays

Woman with suitcaseAdventurous jet-setters keen on experiencing something a little different while on their jollies might like to book a few nights’ stay in The Elephant Camp Victoria Falls.

Anyone on safari holidays who do make this decision will, according to Travelwires, be able to take in amazing views of either the Batoka gorge or the spray from the falls themselves, all from the safety of a luxury tent.

Other attractions at the resort – which is located just ten kilometres from the site – include plunge pools, both in and outdoor showers, mini bars and even baths.

Activities that can be undertaken in this area include elephant-back safaris through the Zambezi River gorge, as well as canoe trips on the water and a sunset cruise.

However, jet-setters might also like to head to Mombasa’s Mwaluganje Elephant Sanctuary, which is home to over 200 of the creatures, as well as providing interesting bush-land and well-forested hills to behold.
