People keen to tour around Africa might like to consider booking accommodation for a stay in Livingstone, as a traveller who did just that has said the area is a good one for wild-animal spotting.
According to Gill Staden of eTurbo News, what is now a safari holiday region was originally used for hunting but, now this has been prohibited, it is "purely photographic".
She noted that opting for a river cruise could provide a great opportunity for seeing game, adding that she caught glimpses of impala and hippos in the water.
"The day came to an end, the sun set in truly African style in a ball of red fire. It dipped below the horizon and we watched the after-sun colors of the sky," Ms Staden wrote.
However, other African regions can boast similar claims and Lelei LeLaulu recently said that West Africa offers jet-setters the chance to see over 500 different bird species.
