South Africa could be the ideal destination for a wildlife excursion without having to rough it, according to one writer.
In a piece for the Huffington Post, Lauri Lyons stated there are plenty of luxuries in the country and it has proved very popular since it hosted the football World Cup last year.
She added: "Most of the country's infrastructure is extremely developed and therefore is equipped to provide Western tourists with all the creature comforts of home."
Furthermore, Ms Lyons recalled enjoying dinners in the middle of the bush during her wildlife excursion, as well as watching giraffes and antelopes stroll free through the range she was staying at.
This comes after James Cusick, writing for Herald Scotland, pointed out seeing an array of beasts during a safari in the Rainbow Nation, such as buffalos, zebras and cheetahs.
In addition, he described his safari as providing a "unique peace".
